Buying Guide: Fryers

1) What is the name/model of the fryer you have selected?

Evo 2200P with integral pump filtration

2) Please provide an overview of the product and its key features.

The Evo 2200P comes from Valentine’ Evolution range of fryers with the Swiss-made attributes of quality build and design innovation. The fryer pans are pressed from single pieces of stainless steel and energy efficiency comes from insulated pans and smaller cool zones that save up to 10 per cent on oil capacity producing the same output as previous models. The Evo 2200P comes with a three year warranty covering components and any manufacturing defects.

The Evo 2200P also features a pump system which avoids the potential hazard of lifting the drain bucket with up to 20 litres of hot oil in it so it can be filtered before going back into the oil pan. This is a hygienic and safe system particularly suited to larger fryers with demanding throughputs. It allows the operator to save time and money with efficient pump filtration cutting time for filtration and cleaning, and crucially prolonging the cooking oil’s quality and usability.

Valentine Builds Next Generation Factory

Valentine Fabrique SA, the Switzerland-based manufacturers of Valentine fryers and multi-cookers has a brand new purpose-built fabrication, storage, research, marketing and distribution facility.

The multi-million Swiss Franc investment replaces two factory sites for Valentine in their home town of Ecublens that were a kilometre apart, and brings all the company’s functions under one roof in nearby Romanel-sur-Morges.

“As we experience strong global demand for Valentine models, including the latest EVO fryers, from markets like the UK, handled by Valentine Equipment, we know the investment in cutting edge production technology and a single well-structured factory is timely.

“The new Valentine facility includes the latest CNC metal cutting and fabrication systems, plus dedicated resources for safety and quality control to test our equipment ensuring the Swiss-made quality we are known for continues.

“The investment has also delivered a great workplace environment for our staff promoting positive health and well being,” said Christophe Paris, Valentine Fabrique’s managing director.

Christophe represents the third generation of the Paris family to be leading Valentine forward since 1953, and distributors and end-users can expect to see their latest EVO fryer and multi-cooker systems at the following exhibitions in 2015: Hospitality (Birmingham), Sirha (Lyon), Scothot (Glasgow), Restaurant Show (London), Igeho (Basel).
